The Makita DTM50J1 is our most popular cordless multi tool supplied here with a backing pad, 20 mixed sanding pads, an 85mm segmented saw, universal adaptor and a dust extraction attachment.

The DTM50 multi tool is a must for all trades, it features a variable speed dial that send oscillations of between 6,000 and 20,000 rpm to the head making it ideal for cutting, sanding, polishing, scraping to name just a few tasks this machine can perform. The handy rubberised handle provides excellent control and the slide switch is situated in the ideal position for user comfort.

Blade change is via a hex key which is housed in the body and an anti-vibration joint protects the battery terminals from losing contact. Attachments are the standard IOS interface and can be installed at 30° increments throughout 360° and a LED light brightens up the cutting area.

This unit is compatible with Makita 18v Li-ion batteries 1.5Ah, 3Ah, 4Ah and 5Ah and can be connected to a dust extraction unit with the 195965-0 attachment which is available as an accessory.
